For over forty years, Little Friends Cooperative Nursery School has been a place for children to begin their educational journey in a positive, nurturing environment that allows our students to thrive. At Little Friends, our goal is to prepare the whole child for success in kindergarten and beyond. Our students learn problem-solving skills, communication, listening, teamwork, and more, as their independence and self-confidence grow.
Our cooperative requirements help to defray the cost of tuition. Parents will be scheduled as an aide in their child's class approximately once monthly, and participate in one cleaning day per school year. In joining together our various skills and backgrounds as parents and teachers, we seek to enrich the nursery program by sharing the time and work involved in supervising the children. Through this cooperative effort, we trust that the parents will also grow in their ability to understand and relate to all children. Parents will also be required to participate in several fundraisers throughout the course of the school year, contributing a minimum of $80 in profits.
